Appraisal Candidates

Who this role is for
Individuals formally enrolled in the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Candidate Program and actively working toward professional designation.
What you’ll do
Candidates take on increasing responsibility in the appraisal process, including property inspections, highest and best use analysis, valuation modelling, and report preparation under the supervision of designated appraisers.
This role is focused on developing competency, judgment, and professional standards. This stage is where our team will offer on-hand training to refine technical skills, market knowledge, and professional judgment.

What you’ll do
Designated appraisers independently complete and sign appraisal reports, provide expert opinions of value, and support clients across financing, litigation, expropriation, taxation, development, and investment decision-making. Senior designated appraisers often lead teams, review reports, and contribute to strategic consulting work.
Designation represents the highest professional standard in Canadian real estate appraisal.
